But now, on to the Miracle of Perfect Love.
How can LOVE be Perfect?
As humans, we do not have the ability to express perfect love. And when I say perfect I mean — loving someone with a totally pure heart and pure motive.
But there is One who can love perfectly — the Apostle John wrote, “God is love!” (1 John 4:16) And He chooses to love us with perfect love.
St. Augustine said, “God loves each of us as if there were only one of us.” You have been designed to be perfectly loved by God.
How do we receive Perfect Love?
God says He has loved you with a love that will not end, it will not fail, a love that will fulfill your every need and desire.
God has given you a miracle that will open your heart to receive Perfect Love. His miracle for you is His Son — Jesus Christ.
The Apostle John describes miraculous encounter with God’s perfect love – His Son – Jesus:
“The light of God’s love shined within us when he sent his matchless Son into the world so that we might live through him. This is love: He loved us long before we loved him. It was his love, not ours. He proved it by sending his Son to be the pleasing sacrificial offering to take away our sins. …God makes his permanent home in us, and we make our permanent home in him, and his love is brought to its full expression in us” (1 John 4:9,12 TPT).
God has extended an invitation to EVERYONE — EVERYONE to receive perfect love through His Son, Jesus Christ.
Have you said Yes to God’s invitation?
I want to leave you with an excerpt from my book, Insights for an Abundant Life. The Lord gave me this word to share His heart of love for you.
I Need You to Know
I need you to know you were created for relationship with Me. I made you in My image and I want to spend time with you.
I need you to know you can call Me Father. You can trust Me with every thought, every struggle and every joy you have. I want to be a part of everything in your life.
I need you to know the payment has been made to free you from death. Life now and forever has been given to you through My Son.
I need you to know My Spirit has found a home in your heart. I am with you all the time.
I need you to know your life is an important part of My Kingdom. You are writing history with each of your days.
I need you to know we are a family and we will have eternity together.
I need you to know I love you deeply. You are mine and I take great delight in you.
Did any of these speak to you? These are just a few things He needs us to know. Spend a little time pondering on these and experience His perfect love God has for just you.
