I am continuing with the series from my new book, God’s Dream for Your Life. Due to a large number of requests on “how do I get started” – today I am readdressing just that, “How do we bring our dreams into reality.”
Before we get started, I have a question to ask you.
God has BIG dreams & plans for your life — Are you living them?
I have developed a quiz to help identify where you are on your journey and what would be your next steps.

One of the most frequent questions I am asked is,
Where do I start to bring my dreams into reality?
Earlier this year, I wrote about this and I am excited to share with you the latest update.
I’ll begin with the mantra I have developed throughout my life:
What I will do tomorrow — depends on the steps I take today.
I am very intentional 95% of the time, in scheduling each day based on the goals I want to achieve. In stating this, I have developed 5 Small Steps to help me keep the momentum going for my dreams.
If you implement these 5 Small Steps into your daily routine you will be able to achieve your next great thing?
It is true!
In my business, I help people discover their dreams and develop a blueprint to turn their dreams into reality. What I have discovered in working with others, and in my own life too, is the need of a framework for each day.
The framework provides structure and support to complete the 5 Small Steps each day. And the framework also prepares us for tomorrow by using the momentum from what we accomplished today.
What are the 5 Small Steps in our daily Framework for Success?
1) Choose One Focus
Most of our days are filled with multiple things we need to accomplish, from the trivial of picking up laundry to the important of setting deadlines. And for many of us we are working from a different position while also working on our dream for the future. When you choose one focus that you can work on today it lays the foundation for the rest of the framework.
For me, this is what today will look like:
4:45 a.m. Reading and Prayer
6:15 a.m. Drop Car at Shop
7:45 a.m. Finish Writing Podcast/Blog
9:15 a.m. Tennis Rain Make Up Match
Noon Coaching Client
1:00 p.m. Class Prep
5:00 p.m. Dinner and Relax
7:30 p.m. 100 Dream Challenge Online Class
My one focus – my foundation, is my Podcast. It is my one small step toward my great thing of connecting others to their dream. Through my podcast, I am able to equip others. And through coaching and my online class, my dream is becoming a reality.
2) Consistency
Our second step is to be consistent and intentional as we plan for the day. Consistency is the way to keep your momentum going. Each week I write my Blog, which I record as a Podcast. I am on my 58th episode! It is that consistency, which is moving me into my next great thing.
3) Track progress
Tracking progress is an important measurement. The advantage to having a daily framework is so we can track what we were able to accomplish. Sometimes the task we have planned cannot be finished in a day.
Yesterday, I had the opportunity to speak at an event, and so I had to delay writing my blog. Now this becomes the priority on my schedule for today — knowing I would need to write so I would be prepared for the recording.
4) Learn from Mistakes
Learning from our mistakes is how we grow. Not every day is perfect, not everything will go the way we had planned. So, we learn and adjust our plans as we learn.
Now, I have been writing long enough to know how long it takes me to complete two blogs, which was my plan. However, what I learned yesterday was I didn’t allow enough time for the event I attended. The extra time at the event ate into my writing — so at 5 a.m. this morning — I finished up!
5) Celebrate Victories
Celebrating victories acknowledges what you have accomplished. When you finish each small step — take time to CELEBRATE!
Celebration is the most important step. When you celebrate your accomplishments it reinforces the next steps — Deciding One Focus, Being Consistent, Tracking Your Progress, and Leaning from Your Mistakes. Each step makes it all worth while.

Have you read my new book, God’s Dream for Your Life?
Here are a few quotes from others who have read my book:
This book is a must read! Whether you have dreams that feel unattainable or you’re wanting to simply dream bigger then this book is for you! You will not be disappointed in this book! Heather W.
This book is all about purpose. If you are struggling understanding your purpose please consider reading this and diving into God’s dream for your life. Let me quote something in the book that was impactful “Many of you, too, will find your purpose becoming clearer as you grow in relationship with God” This book is filled with powerful revelation that will change the way you think. The author is captivating by making it simple and biblical. I really loved how normal she described God’s dream for our lives. The book was inspiring and very encouraging. I realized that I was trying to dream with God while trying to do it myself. After reading this I decided to dream so big that only God can fulfill them, and that I don’t have to do it myself. I highly recommend this book. We have also begun a bible study/book study on this book. Rob
