Following The Spirit: Preposterous Outcomes

The word preposterous means: contrary to nature, reason, or common sense. It is contrary to our thoughts, logic, understanding, training, and intellect. So many of the things God does are so beyond believable, we can even call them preposterous.
Ephesians 3:20 (TPT) says, “Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you.”
God is continually doing things in our lives that are far beyond what we can understand in the natural, but His Spirit in us stirs our faith to believe beyond what we are able to comprehend. In today’s message we will look at the how, and why behind God’s Preposterous outcomes.
God’s preposterous outcomes:
- Build our trust and faith in Him
- Develop our skills to discern and recognize the Holy Spirit
- Give us life in the Spirit to experience His fullness and wonder
- Provide oneness with God the Father to accomplish His will
By living in the Spirit you can and should experience preposterous outcomes in your life. These happen when we are present, willing, and responsive to His leading. When we see His unbelievable, mind-blowing outcomes our faith grows stronger.
It is my hope and prayer that you will choose to be able to identify and embrace God’s preposterous outcomes in your life as you choose to follow His Spirit. Are you ready?
