Following The Spirit: Capturing the Promises

For so many of us, it is hard to hold on to the promises of God because of the numerous broken promises we have experienced from people. The more important the person who broke the promise, the harder it is to trust any promise that comes our way; even if that promise is from God Himself. I know for some, it may be hard to trust, even if you want to. You may even say, “how can I trust in the promises of God when I have a hard time trusting in general?” I hope you will allow me to encourage you right now.

In this week’s message, we will do a deep dive into what it looks like to capture the promises of God, one step at a time, as we continue to lean in and follow The Spirit.

Following The Spirit and Capturing the Promises involves:

– Trusting the God who has never broken His word
– Learning from others experiences
– Growing our trust one promise at a time

The pages of scripture are filled with His promises. Isaiah 55:11 (AMP) says, “So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; it will not return to Me void, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”

God wants to accomplish incredible things in your life and though your obedience to His word. There are promises that are yours for the taking all throughout the pages of the Bible. Promises that will produce a boldness when encountered with your faith. Promises that will change your life, and others, forever.

I hope you are as excited as I am to dig into God’s word and learn how to capture the promises that are waiting for us.
