Do You Really Know Jesus?

In this episode, Pastor Cindy talks about the importance of truly knowing Jesus. She stresses that it shouldn’t just be getting people saved, it should be about leading them to a place of knowing Jesus and his character. She discusses 3 different areas of knowing Jesus.

1. Understanding the Word in Context, not just sound bite – We need to understand how to study the word from Genesis to Revelations, allowing Scripture to interpret Scripture. By doing this, we learn character of God. We discover Eternal Truth, God themes, principles.

2. Spiritual Lenses – Context of the Word in Partnership with the Living Breathing God that we are One with! Seeing Him through His lenses.

3. Understanding What stops at the Cross and What continues – We have an Old Covenant and New Covenant. There are things from the OT that are fulfilled in the NT.
