Can you trust God to turn the heart of an enemy?
1) God’s greatness can turn a foe into a friend with one encounter with Christ.
2) It was shocking for the people to trust Paul’s, changed heart. Even the apostles were afraid of him, and it took Barnabas to vouch for him.
3) As we read the contrast of lives, Stephen martyred with the approval of Saul. What a harsh outcome for Stephen, a man full of faith, a servant, disciple, and full of the Holy Spirit.
4) Then Saul, with the blood of Stephen on his hands, encounters Jesus and becomes the voice of God with just one encounter!
5) Our hearts must stay tendered to the greatness of God and His plans for now and for the future. The Word teaches us to discern and identify when persecution abounds, but we also have to be discerning when the persecutor turns into a promoter of the Gospel.
