Unity: What’s the Big Deal?

In this episode, Pastor Cindy talks about the importance of the body of Christ to walk in unity. But, she emphasizes that the unity we should desire is the unity that only comes from the Holy Spirit. While the world claims to want unity, they desire for it to come from compromise and following feelings. As believers, we should seek a unity that comes from standing firm on the Word of God and walking in step with His Spirit.

The disciples who built the original church, were of one mind and one heart. They were in tune with one another and were of one soul. But, what made them the powerful, courageous, forerunners of our faith was their oneness in spirit. It was their connection to the Spirit of God that unified them and it’s our connection with the Spirit that unifies the body of Christ today.

  • We serve a Holy God with a Holy Word that transforms us
  • We are God’s weapon to carry transformation
  • The sustaining of the move of God is falling after the desperation of who He is
  • Our Spirit to spirit relationship sustains us
  • Hunger and passion for God opens the way for movement
