Laser Focused ~ What Are We For?

What do you stand for? Are the things you are for in life really worth supporting? Are they just a preference or are they your convictions? It is important to separate our opinions and preferences from our truth based convictions. The best way to sort opinion from truth is to have a genuine conviction for what you believe! As Christ-Followers, our convictions must be based in truth – not my truth but the truth of God’s Word!
In this podcast we will spend time evaluating what we are for, not against! We will dig deep into how God’s presence ultimately provides us with the things that He wants us to be for.
His presence living in us gives:
- The authority to release His power
- Provision for the journey
- Supernatural multiplication
- Intimacy — realness at a whole new level
- Increased Revelation
We have an opportunity – a choice – to lean into His presence and press into the things we should be for – not against – things that are rooted in the power of the cross! It is this power that gives us the freedom to respond to the truth and repent or to reject the truth and miss out on His presence.
Jesus included others in every aspect of His life. His presence allows us the opportunity to live a life that is greater then ourselves. Three men hung on crosses the day that Jesus was crucified (Luke 23:39-43). All three were focused on different things.
Jesus’ focus was to fulfill the path that would bring freedom. One thief was focused on repentance and being in the presence of Jesus for the rest of his life and into eternity. The other thief turned his focus elsewhere; He was repulsed.
Today we are presented with the same choice. We can choose to live with laser focus and invite others to experience God’s presence with us! We were never meant to experience His presence with absolute exclusivity. Who are you including in your life as you pursue the presence of God?
I believe the Lord wants to accomplish things in our lives, for His Kingdom, that are beyond our wildest imaginations! Are you ready to embrace His presence together?
