We are entering into 2019 with a promise of MORE! Today, we will talk about how 2018 may have increased your ability to obtain the MORE coming in 2019.
Let’s get started on today’s subject, 2019 Promises More.
The Lord spoke to me and said, “More is just the beginning — 2019 will set the momentum for the next 10 years of breakthrough.”
Are you ready to design 2019 as the template for the next 10 years?
On November 26, the Lord gave me three steps to follow for the coming year. They come from Revelation 1:19 in the New King James Version:
“Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which will take place after this.”
1) Document Your 2018
It is time to review and document your achievements from 2018. In doing so, it serves two purposes. The first, you remember what you accomplished. Second, you identify any patterns, which have created momentum that will continue in 2019.
For me, one pattern I have noticed that created momentum for 2019 is the need for implementing a variety of formats for coaching and mentoring. What once was face to face has now yielded to online mentoring classes, developing a community, and mentoring retreats.
And I love it!
My husband and I were talking about what is to come for the New Year. I was sharing with him how I have found my passion by helping others find their passion. Building a blueprint for their passion and implementing small steps they can take to live in their passion; is my passion!
Can you recognize if there are patterns from 2018 that carry momentum to take them into 2019?
2) Identify Where You are Now
The next step is identifying and documenting where you are now. By understanding what your current position is, you are able to establish what you will need in order to keep the momentum going into the next year.
To keep my mentoring going, I realized I would be presenting more live and pre-recorded classes. Currently, I am using my iPhone or laptop to stream and record. It is not the best for my planned growth in 2019. So, I invested in the next level of equipment to produce higher quality streaming and videos.
Keep in mind as you do this exercise to look at your need in both the tangible, and intangible. The tangible for me was needing new equipment, the intangible was needing to allow more time.
What will you need in order to keep your momentum flowing?
3) Planning for what You See in 2019
The last step in this process is planning what you believe the new year will bring based on the patterns you have identified. One way of doing this is to list out the things you are seeing for the new year. Then schedule based by the quarter, so you are able to implement. i.e. 1st Quarter: January, February, March.
I have already begun this process. What I realized is that if I am going to accomplish what I am planning, I need to block out greater segments of time to work. To implement this, I have scheduled for the 1st quarter. Blocking off one week in January to work on the content for the coming months.

By following the pattern where you have been, identifying where you are now, and planning where you are going — you will set yourself up for More in 2019!
