I am continuing with the series from my new book, God’s Dream for Your Life. Today, we will talk about how you can recognize, receive and release miracles.

God wants to release miracles to you and through you. His dream is that you will be able to recognize His miracle working power, receive the miracles you need, and release miracles to others in need.
In September, the Lord began speaking to me about this new season of miracles. He said we are stepping into an increase of miracles like we have never seen before. Are you ready?
Recognizing Miracles
For us to recognize a miracle, we have to understand the meaning of miracle. There are many types of miracles, however in the context of our discussion we will look at the miraculous made available for us to recognize, receive and release.
A miracle is using the imparted power and authority Jesus has given us to instantaneously change a situation, revealing the presence of God.
“Jesus summoned together his twelve apostles and imparted to them authority over every demon and the power to heal every disease. Then he commissioned them to preach the kingdom realm of God and to heal the sick to demonstrate that the kingdom had arrived.”
(Luke 9:1-2, TPT)
Jesus has not only given His disciples the authority and power, He has also given it to all who believe in Him — you and me. When we recognize a miracle is needed, we have the authority and power to change the outcome.
Here is a testimony from my book, God’s Dream for Your Life that gives a good example. This took place at the Healing Rooms at our Apostolic Center.
“I had prayer for my uneven hip. While they prayed, I felt my shorter leg grow, and my stance became balanced as my leg grew.” (Page 155)
This person came in with a need — she had an uneven hip. Seeing her legs were uneven we recognized it would take a miracle. We used the authority and power that God has given us to change her condition.
Receiving the Miracle
Let me share another testimony from our Healing Rooms about someone who came to receive a miracle.
Leaning heavily on his wife, a tall slender, middle-aged man made his way into the room. With forearm crutches, grimacing from the pain he approached us and asked for prayer.
The Lord gave us a sense that he was not able to received his miracle because of the guilt and wounding he carried from his past. We sat with him, helped him though the process of asking and receiving forgiveness from Jesus. Once that was finished, he was ready to receive his miracle.
God’s miracle working power flowed through his body — instantaneously he was healed! He ran out the doors with his crutches over his head smiling and shouting praises to Jesus!
Releasing Miracles to Others
Jesus has given you the authority and power to, “Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse the lepers, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.” (Matthew 10:8, AMP)
The way to begin releasing miracles is to practice releasing what you have already received! This is my testimony of being able to release what I have freely received to others.
From the time I was a teen my back would suddenly lock-up when I bent down. I would not be able to stand and would have to spend days in bed until my back released.
About 10 years ago, I was at a conference with my friends and the speaker shared that God was healing backs. I began to feel a severe pain in my back and then suddenly, it was gone! My back has never locked up since.
The miracle I received on that day — I have released over and over to others who have back issues — Freely I received — Freely I have been able to release to others.
