God’s Dream of Love

I am continuing with the series from my new book, God’s Dream for Your Life. Today, we are talking about God’s Dream of Love.

Before we get started, I have a question to ask you.

God has BIG dreams & plans for your life — Are you living them?

I have developed a quiz to help identify where you are on your journey and what would be your next steps.

Let’s get started with our topic:

God’s Dream of Love

I am excited to share with you an excerpt from my book, God’s Dream for Your Life. This section is about Learning to Love Beyond Our Knowledge.

Scripture says that without love, we are nothing. Every word Jesus spoke and every action Jesus took was out of love because He is love.

His love for us is tender…
His love is accepting…
His love stirs beauty from deep inside of us …
His love makes us feel secure….
His love makes us want to be the best we can be.
His love is forever and ever.
When we operate out of love, all of Heaven responds, because it recognizes the Father’s heart beating in you.

We have a Bible college that is in partnership with our school, the Gathering School of Supernatural Activation. Together we offer accredited degrees. Our first six-week course is Loving Beyond the Knowledge. We learn that God loves us beyond the knowledge He has of us. This means He loves us even though He knows everything about us. He wants us to learn how to love others in the same way. To love beyond what we know and perceive of them. God wants to reveal the hidden treasure in each of us: the gold. He wants us to take the time to mine the gold and bring it to the surface, visible for all to see the fullness of who God created us to be; it is called Digging for the Gold!

When we are able to see the gold in others and love them while the gold is rising to the surface, then we have loved like God loves.

Remember reading in John 4 about Jesus encountering the Samaritan woman at the well?

Jesus knew all about her; she had five husbands and the one she was living with was not even one of them. Jesus did not focus on her past or her sin. His focus was to lead her to truth and to the Father’s plan for her. Her future was lived out of Jesus’s love and His complete acceptance of her.

This is our challenge: to be able to love others, not distancing ourselves or judging them and not losing sight of the future the Father has for them. (Pages 169-170)

Learning to love someone in this way is an ongoing process. It makes it easier to love somebody after you have seen God’s truth about the person.

Here are some questions you can ask God:

— Lord, how do you see them?
— What do you want me to know about them?
— How can I be an encouragement to them?

Once you know the truth — it empowers you to love.

I would enjoy hearing your challenges and victories as you are learning to love beyond the knowledge of others.

I will leave you with a quote from our class Loving Beyond the Knowledge:

“Walking in love that passes knowledge brings God’s perfected love and the fullness of God into our lives. This gives us the ability to be led by the Father as Jesus was.”

Remember, you are the best investment you can make.
