Two Types of Transition

Episode 92

Are you in a transition in your personal life, career, or relationship?

Well, if you answered YES, which type of transition are you in?

There are two types of transition.
One moves you from place to place.
The other moves you from one place to the next, but brings transformation with the transition.

The real questions for you today is —

Am I just moving from place to place?
Am I following God and being transformed as I move?

If you feel like you are stuck and not going from one transition to the next with transformation, you can choose to include transformation.

Envisioning Your Future

Episode 91

I remember when I was kid, I dreamed of being a superhero! I would lay in the driveway in front of my house and daydream about what kind of superhero I would be. I would see myself flying in the air in my cute superhero outfit, rescuing and protecting others.

In many instances, the way we think things are going to look evolves as we grow up. Of course, what I envisioned for the future has changed dramatically from what I thought it would look like as a child. However, the passion to help others has not changed, it just looks different.

Envisioning your future…why is it important?

How do you begin?

“Have you ever thought about partnering with God for your dreams? What a thrill it would be to join forces with God to make your dreams come true? God is a dream giver and He is a dream fulfiller. Our dreams come alive as we spend time with the Lord. He unfolds things we think are impossible and they suddenly become possible!”

Let’s Get Messy!

Episode 90

Maybe you think about a mess as a Tough Mudder Obstacle Course, a pie eating contest, finger painting, or getting caught in the rain?

Today, I am talking about a different kind of mess — I am using the word mess to describe when the things of God are out of our understanding or our control and appear to be messy.

Let’s take a look at Scripture from Proverbs 14:4 in the Passion Translation:

“The only clean stable is an empty stable. So if you want the work of an ox and to enjoy an abundant harvest, you’ll have a mess or two to clean up!”
Proverbs 14:4 TPT

What this is really saying is as we grow in relationship with God our experiences with Him can appear to be messy. The reason for this appearing to be messy is because we are seeing in part and not from the fullness of God’s perspective.

It may sound strange, but there is a messiness in being open to the Holy Spirit. This appearance of messiness occurs because we only have glimpses of what God is wanting to do through us and for us so it appears to be a mess. But to God, it is beautifully and perfectly orchestrated.

Put aside our preferences and the Lord gives us the very thing our hearts have been crying out for all along.

Revival is a condition of our heart.

God is looking for people ready to be undone for Him.

100%

I have been pondering on what God’s Kingdom looks like here on earth, specifically when 100% of the people are healed. It all began when I was preparing for our Revival Experiment; this time it was to be a Miracle Service.

As I was reading the Word, I was thinking about the people who were in need of healing, including myself. In my mind, I would focus on one person and then picture what it would be like if they were healed 100%.

With each person, I could see their mind, their body, their organs, their blood — every area being healed.

I shared what I was going after that night — 100%! We worship, we prayed and released healing — but not 100% of our people were healed.

The atmosphere certainly changed that night, and as we responded to the Holy Spirit’s invitation there was unity in our curiosity.

We weren’t trying to figure it out. We were just wanting to receive all that Jesus had for us. Though it wasn’t what we had planned for the night, it is what He had planned.

Though I do not have a full understanding of what took place that night, there are a couple of takeaways I want to share with you.

1) Pursuing 100%
2) Changing the Atmosphere
3) Unity in Our Curiosity

John 15:16 All things that the Father has are Mine. Because of this I said that He [the Spirit] will take from what is Mine and will reveal it to you. (AMP)

God is inviting you to join in the pursuit. He is here now to reveal all things to us — 100%!
